The company was founded in 1979 and provides services in auditing, tax advisory and business consulting. The consulting services focus on the clients with their businesses. So, we regard ourselves as experts and partners for our clients and together we face the challenges to achieve the best possible success.
Even decades ago the St. Veit office has specialized in the consulting of public bodies, particularly local authorities (communities, municipalities) and other public bodies. CONFIDA Communal advises communities and municipalities beyond Carinthia’s borders and has proven successful in outsourcing of public tasks to private companies. The connection to national and international networks (INAA) ensures optimal service for the clients in an international context.

In 1976, Dr. Hermann Huber graduated at the Vienna University of Economics and Business with a doctorate in social sciences and economics. In 1979 he was appointed as tax advisor. In addition, he holds qualifications as accountant and auditor. Together with partners Dr. Huber founded a public accountant firm in 1978 which formed the origin of today’s CONFIDA Group. For more than 25 years he was mayor of a Carinthian municipality. He serves in various supervisory boards.
Dr. Huber focuses on classic tax advisory, auditing and corporate succession advisory. Moreover, he specializes in advisory and support of public bodies, particularly, local authorities. With regard to advising public bodies, Dr. Huber especially benefits from his long-standing experience as mayor.

Ms. Sylvia Falgenhauer-Schlatte completed her studies of applied business administration with a focus on tax law and marketing at the University of Klagenfurt in 1996. Subsequently, she acquired qualifications as tax advisor and auditor. Ms. Sylvia Falgenhauer-Schlatte has twelve years of extensive experience in consulting and auditing businesses from various sectors of industry.
Ms. Falgenhauer-Schlatte specializes classic tax advisory (start-up advice, legal form, tax calculation and planning, accounting) as well as in the execution of the statutory and special audits).
